Rodmasters Car club hosted an event like no other to celebrate our 40th anniversary. This one time only event was held at the new Ancaster Fairgrounds July 9, 2011.

Rodmasters 40th was a huge success. On July 9th 2011 the Rodmasters Car Club celebrated their 40th anniversary. The Ancaster Fairgrounds came alive in the early afternoon to the sounds of 100 classic cars.

The day started with a scenic cruze to Toronto Motorsports Park led by members of the car club. Participants were treated to an afternoon of high energy racing. After their fill of burning rubber, it was into the cars for a drive back to the Ancaster Fairgrounds. While cooling down the cruzers were treated to some light refreshments while awaiting the evenings events to begin.

The hall was decorated with Rodmasters memorabilia including four of the members cars, including Dennis Mcintyre's Model T Ford. Club President Elwood Kielt started the evening off with a welcome message. Four youths from the CYO said grace. Guest were treated to a fabulous multi course meal, served by Julia's catering.

Tables at the back of the hall were filled with great items to raffle. The fantastic support of our sponsors made this alot of fun for our participants. Dozens of door prizes were handed out to Rod Run participants and dinner guests.

After dinner, John Spatzso from Camp Marydale spoke to the crowd about the new camp that they are building. Proceeds from the evening's event will go toward building the camp.

The band Power House provided the evenings entertainment with lots of great classic music. The evening wrapped up with the results of the 50/50 and raffle draws.

This great event would not have been possible without the terrific support of our sponsors, and the hard work of our members. Most of all we would like to thank and acknowledge all the classic car lovers that support the Rodmasters Car Club year after year. Happy Motoring.
